What is the PTO and why does it Matter?
PTO which stands for Parent Teacher Organization, is a non-profit organization of parents and teachers working together to make Findley Oaks an even better place for our kids.
The PTO is a volunteer-led organization made up of parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff who help provide programs, events, resources, and extras that are not fully covered by the school’s regular budget.
Where does my Membership Money go?
When you join the PTO, your membership dollars go right back into supporting Findley Oaks students, teachers, and our school community. PTO funds help support things like:
- Teacher & Staff Support: appreciation events, staff lounge treats, classroom support, and more
- Student & Family Events: Movie Night, International Night, Bingo Night, Spring Fling, and other community events
- School & Classroom Resources: helping fund items and programs that enhance our students’ school experience
- Campus Improvements: beautification projects and improvements to spaces our students use every day
- Community Outreach: service projects that give our Falcons opportunities to give back
- The “Extras” That Make Findley Oaks Special: the experiences, celebrations, and opportunities that help turn a school into a community
Why Should I Join?
Joining the PTO does NOT mean you are signing up to volunteer! Membership is simply one of the easiest ways to financially support our school.
The more families who join, the more we can do for every student at Findley Oaks — whether that’s funding a new school resource, supporting our teachers, improving our campus, or creating a special memory for our kids.
You don’t have to attend meetings. You don’t have to volunteer. You don’t have to have extra time.
Just by joining, you’re helping.
Our goal is simple: more families involved, more resources for our school, and more opportunities for our Falcons.

How do I donate to support the PTO and enhance my child’s elementary education?
You can donate anytime through Findley Oaks PTO website. Simply click "Join Findley Oaks PTO,” and choose your level of support. Every dollar helps fund student activities, teacher grants, and school events.
Are the memberships purchased per student?
Memberships can be purchased per student or per family in case of multiple students in the school, regardless of the package you choose every child benefits equally from PTO-funded programs and activities. The packages are designed to bundle together commonly purchased items—spirit wear, and event tickets—in a way that offers added value for families.
